30/60/90K Maintenance
Most manufacturers suggest that vehicles have routine maintenance conducted every 30,000 miles, hence the name 30/60/90K maintenance. While the exact mileage suggestion will vary based on your make and model, this term is often used for general maintenance purposes. These service check ups often include fluid flushes, including the cooling system flush, transmission fluid flush, power steering flush and differential flush. Other services include belt and hose replacements, diagnostic scans and battery replacements, as necessary.
Oil Change
One of the most important services your car will require is an oil change. For most vehicles they are necessary every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or more, depending on the make and model. Oil changes are crucial for engine health, as they ensure proper lubrication amongst the moving parts of the motor and the oil change process removes impurities from inside the engine, helping to restore power and fuel efficiency.
Timing Belt Replacement
It is necessary to replace your timing belt at your manufacturer's suggested mileage interval in order to avoid the belt from suddenly snapping. Should the belt break you may be in need of an expensive engine repair that could have easily been avoided.
Tune Ups Services
When your vehicle just doesn't seem to be running right than it could be time for a tune up. Tune ups generally consist of completing smaller services that will help keep your car running perfect. This may include installing a new fuel filter and air filter or replacing the spark plugs and plug wires.
